In order to further promote the labor education and aesthetic education courses for college students in the new era, the 3rd Chinese Talent Show themed " 'Labor' Creates Brilliant Chapters, 'Art' Unfolds New Pages " was successfully held in our college on the afternoon of May 27, attracting the active participation of many teachers and students.
At the event site, volunteers carefully arranged the exhibition stands in advance and placed various handcrafted works in an orderly manner—from paper cutting to calligraphy, from painting to cloisonné enamel. Each work embodies the creators' dedication. Guided by them, students of our college visited in an orderly manner, constantly expressing admiration and feeling the unique charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
The national style showcase session was brilliant. The violinist played the melodious "Four Seasons Tune", and the jumping notes conveyed a unique charm. The martial arts performance "Chinese Martial Arts" was powerful, with every move showing the extensive and profound nature of Chinese martial arts. In addition, musical instrument performances such as guitar, saxophone, flute playing and guzheng ensemble, as well as the impressive traditional Chinese costume show, brought an audio-visual feast to the audience. The skill learning area was also bustling. Volunteers patiently explained tie-dyeing techniques in the tie-dyeing workshop and guided the students present to operate with their own hands. The white cloth showed unique patterns under the infiltration of dyes, and the students' surprise was evident. The rubbing area reproduced the ancient Chinese rubbing technology, showing the unique charm of traditional culture. Projects such as calligraphy and flower arrangement also attracted many students to participate.。
The food delivery area was filled with the sweet smell of popcorn and the fresh sweetness of zongzi. Students gathered around the production platform, watched the production process curiously and excitedly, and experienced making by themselves, feeling the delicious results brought by labor. The subsequent game session was a highlight of this Chinese Talent Show. Fun games such as "Heaven and Earth Throw" and "Spiritual Pearl into Cup" attracted many students to participate enthusiastically. They won exquisite prizes with their wisdom and luck. When receiving the prizes, everyone had a joyful smile on their faces and actively took photos in front of the camera to record this beautiful moment.
This activity organically combines labor education with art education, continuing to explore a new path for the integration of labor education and aesthetic education. It not only provides a platform for students of our college to show their talents, but also enables everyone to enhance their understanding and love for traditional Chinese culture in practice, and improve their aesthetic ability and labor literacy.
