In accordance with the official website of China Non-ferrous Metals Industry Association, 10 projects of JXUST were awarded science and technology prizes. Among these ten projects, in-situ leaching injection and collection technique and land slide control technology for ion-adsorption rare earths, and Comprehensive technology and equipment for the efficient procession for refractory sulfide copper ore were awarded first prizes.

China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), based in Beijing, China, is a national non-profit, industrial economic social organization which is constituted voluntarily by over 1,000 Chinese enterprises, institutions and social communities of nonferrous metals sector. CNIA holds about 15 Nonferrous Metal international forums and conferences every year, including the Secondary Metals Technology & Equipment Exhibition.
