On the afternoon of March 23rd, the School of Foreign Languages held a special lecture on “Frontiers and Career Development in the Language Service Industry” in Room C402, FL Building. Mr Cao Daqin, director of the office of the Silk Road Language Service Collaborative Innovation Center of Xi'an Foreign Studies University, Associate Professor of the School of Advanced Translation, and Secretary-General of the Translation Technology Education Research Association of the World Translation Education Alliance, is invited as the keynote speaker. Cheng Yuan, deputy dean of SFL, teacher representatives and some graduate students participated in the lecture.

This lecture introduced in detail the cutting-edge and career development of the language service industry, and also reminded teachers and students to adapt to the times and social development, and take the initiative to master versatile skills.
