On Oct. 21st, the 8th Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Crystallography was held in Nanchang, capital city of East China’s Jiangxi Province. Around 1,000 delegates from the fields of macromolecular crystallography, functional molecular crystallography, polycrystalline (powder crystal) diffraction, nonlinear optics and laser crystal materials, and crystallography education registered the academic event.
Professor Wen Herui, president of JXUST, delivered a key-note speech with the title, the Design and Application of Rare Earth Photoelectromagnetic Molecular Functional Materials. Focusing on rare-earth-iron dielectric materials, rare-earth photo-magnetic multifunctional materials, and chiral magnetoluminescent molecular materials, the report was highly praised by the conference delegates.
