Recently, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) released the annual candidates for its Young Talents Project. Two young researchers, Dr. Xiao Yanfei and Dr. Jiang Qinzheng, were included in the list. With an annual fund of 150,000 Yuan for 3 consecutive years, Young Support Project, inaugurated in 2015, provides financial and policy assistance to young scientific and technological professionals, with the target of making outstanding achievements in their golden age of creativity.
As the largest non-governmental organization of scientific and technological professionals in China, CAST serves as a bridge that links the Chinese government to the country's science and technology community.
